Final set list decided/rehearsal

We finally decided on our final 6 songs that we will be playing for our end of year gig last week, and are as follows (titles in progress) - Jeromes song - Bruno Mars 'Just the way you are' - Millies song - My song (instrumental) - Gloria Gaynor 'I will survive' - Prince '1999'

With time running out for us to decide on our final 6 songs and with multiple originals that were in progress but not near completion, we decided to perform an extra cover song in its place. We picked Prince '1999' as one of our cover songs which I was very happy about being a huge prince fan, while also knowing that we can make the song our own and funk it up more than it already is. The same day we picked '1999' by Prince, we stayed behind to finish finishing our rendition and learning the song which were all very happy with how it turned out. We've decided to play this song last as we really enjoy playing it and our rendition gives off great energy, shows off our skills due to solo's added, and hopefully people will enjoy watching us perform it. Choosing 'I will survive' is a song again that we can change up and personalise it to our type of style which i'm looking forward to hearing it finished hopefully by today. I would like to think that by the end of today we will have all 6 songs finished and then it's just a matter of running through our setlist.
