Millies original update.

Last week Nathan had returned to rehearsals and we showed him the work in progress for millies track. We had a bit of a creative clash in terms of how what everyone thought of it so far and our thoughts with us playing different instruments. James came in and gave us a bit of a talk on our situation and mentioned that he believes we are all talented and for that reason we try to make parts of songs too complicated when we don't need to in an attempt to show our individual skills. He made some great points so we all agreed to stick with our original instruments and try again. While we didn't have much progress with millies song later in that session I had a new idea that I showed the band and everyone liked the groove of it and I have since been working on this song and have reminded myself that it's okay to have a song that follows a simple time signature and structure. I hope to be very productive in todays pod session as we don't have much time left and have to make sure we get through these songs that we have in the works and not overthink them.
