Millie's song "wasting time" conception.

Yesterday we listened to an idea for an original song Millie had an idea for and began to play to it and start working on it. It's in the key of A, and is a slow tempo song. I started trying to jam some major scale over the chords, but I decided it wasn't really fitting together and I had a great idea for a bass part instead.

I picked up the bass and we began working ideas for the song much faster. So far we have the intro and verse, with an idea for the chorus. I will be playing bass for this song which I'm really looking forward to as it will change my approach to what I will contribute to this piece. So far there's nothing too complex with this song, but we intend to change the time signature on the chorus to give it some technical flair as opposed to just staying in 4/4 time signature.
