Original Song 3 titled 'Feet in the fire' conception, and recording.

Our final song came from a melody Jerome had shown to us on keys. When we heard this we were all in agreement that this would be a chorus hook as it is very catchy. The melody itself was a funk style melody, at least that is how we all interpreted it, and so we decided it would be a funky song to get people moving to.

We spent a lot of time on this song as there were disagreements between members in the band on how the verses and chorus should be. The main issue was the lyricist had trouble writing lyrics for the way we had laid the song out so she asked if we could change them so we put some new ideas in to make it work. However we went back and forth a few times between parts on whether we thought that they fir the part they were supposed to be. For example does the verse sound like a verse or a chorus and does the chorus sound like a verse, do these parts work for lyrics etc etc.

Things got rather tense towards the end of writing this song as there were still disagreements between band members on what should be, which led to alice leaving the rehearsal session.

While alice left myself and the rest of the band spoke on what we should do with the song We threw some ideas back and forth and settled on the final layout ourselves and completed the song in an hour.

We then showed the finished song to Alice when she returned and after the song was finalised and everybody had agreed.
