Band rehearsals with new band, and song writing progress

Today was our 2nd rehearsal as a new band and we got a lot of work produced. During our first session i had a riff that i started playing, it was more of a funk style of riff, and all of the band started jamming along. Everybody began playing something that fit perfectly with my riff, with matt adding a lead guitar to it, stefan adding a very nice bassline to it, marco with keys, jerome on drums.

It came together very quickly, however we soon hit a creative wall, and left the song to one side for now. I'm going to work on the song in my spare time, i may very well bring it back to the band after i have worked it on some more, or i may keep it for something else.

Today we started a new song after leaving the previous one to one side. It is a 4 chord fast paced rock song. We've managed to get most of the song skeleton down, and made a lot of progress today, which is a good sign that everybody is on the same page creatively. So far so good, i'm looking forward to what else we will create.
