Practice gig today, Band reflection on improvements to be made

Today all of ED1 had to play a mini gig today consisting of 3 songs each, while the rest of us were given a sheet where we were to put 2 points which were great, and 2 things which could be improved upon. This lasted all day, and we were making sure that whatever negative or positive, we made sure to back it up with some explanation and making sure to specify exactly what it is that we were praising or criticising.

Our band performed at 1:30, and played 4 songs, with the 4th being our own composition. I felt good about our performence, however i know there were mistakes, and a little bit of confusion on our own composition. However we expected that as it is still a work in progress. For the limp bizkit song we really need to work on a collective stage presence on that song specifically. We also need to make sure that we know each song like the back of our hands, so we never have to look at one another for guidance as it really ruins the performence.

Each song has to be perfected and memorised, but also our stage presence has to look like we are having fun, and that it suits each song we play.

All in all i am really proud of how we played today, we need to practice and tune up a little bit, but for the most part i think we played well. I also had a lot of fun playing today, and really wasn't very nervous, which was great. However i needed to improve on my stage presence, and make sure i am 110% certain of my parts and not to get lost like i did on limp bizkit and our composition.
